 My story...

I'm Alex,


After years of working in the food industry (former chef and cookery teacher) my life was just go go go.


I worked long hours, ate rubbish and skipped meals. I embarked on every diet out there, driving myself into a spiral of self-loathing, despair and ultimately feeling awful. I was tired, overweight, depressed, obsessed, and hated clothes shopping. I was a slave to counting calories and the scales. I felt very vulnerable, often upset, stuck, and felt like I had tried everything but nothing was really working. It seemed that no one really understood how I felt about myself.  All I wanted was someone to listen, understand and really ‘get’ me.


This was particularly hard as when I was growing up, I was active and outdoorsy; I was an event rider (so super fit) in my previous life. 


Then a traumatic life event literally turned my life upside down overnight. I was lost. I was unable to sleep and my life became a total struggle.

It was during my time as a cookery teacher, I became really passionate about health and was also desperate to find a solution that would work for me and give me my former bounce back.    

Once I had overcome my own health issues, I had a burning desire to really help and encourage others and this is what inspired me to retrain and study nutrition.  

You shouldn’t have to feel this way and I now really know how much better life can really be.

My Approach

You don’t need to live with your struggles anymore.

I can honestly say that now I'm in my late 40’s I am feeling better than I ever have. I have balance in my life and have a healthy relationship with food and I enjoy it.  I have learnt how to manage stress  (unfortunately we cannot always avoid stress in our lives), build resilience and prioritise my sleep.

I now feel happy and healthy from the inside out and I have the energy and vitality to make the most of each and every day.

And, when it comes to confidence and self-esteem, I feel comfortable in my own skin which I can honestly say is a massive transformation for me.

I am a Registered Nutritionist, Naturopath, former cookery teacher and chef with a wealth of experience. I am a healthy eating expert and know what I’m talking about with over 5 years of experience having helped hundreds of clients turn their lives around. 

I have a realistic, balanced and compassionate approach and I focus on foods you can eat rather than give you a long list of things you can’t eat. Don't worry, I have no intention to take all the pleasures in your life away. Instead, I will suggest practical changes to your lifestyle that are straightforward and achievable but also have quick and positive results.

Now I use my experience, knowledge, and coaching skills to help women like you take back control of their health and feel like themselves again. So many women put themselves last, but really, you ought to be number one. Only if you’re healthy, confident, and happy will you have the energy to face the demands of daily life with a bounce in your step.


I deeply care about people and am passionate about supporting women as I know only too well what it feels like. I understand and know from my own experience that it can be hard to get the right help and also find any time for yourself.
