This wonderful juice is packed with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals in particular folate, iron and magnesium which help boost your immune system. It is a great juice to help improve athletic performance, especially by aiding recovery after exercise and improving blood pressure.
This recipe will make a 500 ml glass of juice
1 large carrot
1 orange, pith removed
1 lemon, pith removed
1 inch piece of ginger
1 inch piece of turmeric root
Wash and scrub all the vegetables but don’t peel. Put everything through your juicer, and enjoy!
